Add 1 bag Backmischung ‘Bierbrot’ MANUFAKTUR TOBLER, 3.3 decilitres pale lager, 1 teaspoon honey and 175 millilitres water to a large bowl and work it into a smooth dough
Cover the bowl with a towel and let the dough rise during 45 minutes
Take the dough out of the bowl and briefly knead it
Add the dough back into the bowl and let it rise for another 10 minutes
Form the dough into a round loaf, sprinkle the surface with 1 teaspoon wheat flour and let it rest for another 30 minutes
Score an around 2 cm deep circle into the loaf, starting around 3 cm from the edge (when looking at it from the top)
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius
Bake the beer bread in the pre-heated oven at 220 degrees Celsius for about 35 minutes
